We were saddened to hear the news about Sam. He and my mom had a special bond as first cousins, having both attended Gustavus Adolphis for college. It was a privilege for me to be involved with Sam on several work projects at Pelican Lake, and on a deer hunt a bit north of there years ago. I remember those times as fun, and filled with much kidding and laughter.
May the grace of God give all of you strength and courage.
