A Funeral Service for Michael A. Hamlin will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 2:00PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 5-7PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN and also one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Salem Cemetery in Malung, MN.
Michael passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the age of 25.
Michael A. Hamlin was born on July 20, 1992 to Michael and Karla (Hoeft) Hamlin in Thief River Falls, MN. Michael attended school in Roseau, MN and graduated from Roseau High school in 2010. After school Michael joined the United States Marine Corps. He completed bootcamp in San Diego, CA at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. He was then stationed at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC. During his time in North Carolina he met Arynn Rogers; they were married on May 21, 2014 and moved to Roseau, MN. They were blessed with a beautiful baby girl on November 18, 2014. Michael started working at Digi-key in Thief River Falls, MN, and they moved to Oklee, MN.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, playing Xbox and spending time with his family; especially his daughter.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Marian Hamlin; great-grandparents, Charles and Muriel Hoeft.
Michael is survived by his wife, Arynn; daughter, Adalynn Hamlin; parents, Karla and Paul Davy; siblings, Kayli Hoeft, Aaron Davy, Tanner Davy; grandparents, Robert and Joyce Davy and Leonard and Marilyn Novak; great-grandma, Bernice Wagner.
