He attended the country school in Beaver Township and started working as a young boy. He worked in North Dakota for a short time and moved back to Roseau County to take care of his parents. He worked for Marvin Windows and Doors for 39 1/2 years, a job he enjoyed very much. He loved to visit with people and tell stories. He enjoyed playing cards, 4-wheeling, going for drives in the country to see the wildlife. He will be remembered as kind, generous and loving person who always helped others. Blessed be his memory.
