John was a shining face at the Inlet. His face was the face that my daughter would look for this past summer and last summer. She couldn't wait to show him her happy or sad fish dance depending on whether we caught fish. To John's credit, he's often join right in dancing with her. Although we just met this summer, wanted you to know what a special and loving family you are and what a special person your John is. His love of life and people shunned through on so many inspiring ways.

It is with great sorrow we learned of John's death. We have many wonderful memories of John & Kay at the NWA helping out and being welcoming. We also remember seeing his pride and joy, his children, grow up at the Angle. Having watched the Prothero family we can see how much John took after his strong and honest parents Dale and Grace. John was so much fun to be with we will miss him and so will all the guests at Prothero's Post. Peace.

Oh, so very sad! We send our deepest sympathy to you all!!! We fully enjoyed John any time we could see of be with you all. Only the Lord knows why he had to go now.
But we know that the Lord has received him and said, "Well done, my faithful servant."
The total grief left for you is the very hard part. He promised to never leave you nor forsake you!! Praying for you that the Lord would be your strength and comfort as you face the days, weeks, months, and years ahead!!! Trusting Him to lead and guide you as he comforts and gives peace!
But we know that the Lord has received him and said, "Well done, my faithful servant."

Though we miss John dearly, what a comfort to know he is living and breathing what we all yearn for one day...to be in the Presence of Our Almighty God.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a neat and funny man John was. I always enjoyed his quiet harassing when he was in the clinic. He will me missed by many. Big hugs to all of you. May God give you strength!

We are so sorry and are upholding you in prayer at the very throne of our great GOD!
Our words don't do justice compared to the comfort and peace that only GOD can give. We know your trust is in HIM and HIS promises in HIS word! We grieve with you. John was a terrific man, husband, and father! He was always upbeat, positive attitude, smiling, friendly, an imitator of GOD! We seen him in a store in Roseau in June and he was smiling and upbeat and had time to visit with us.
He was people orientated. He will be missed a lot by people but by you most of all.
