Jim L. Lindblad

Memorial services for Jim L. Lindblad of Roseau will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11 AM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau.  Visitation will be on Friday from 5-7 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at Helgeson's.  

Jim Leroy Lindblad passed away on December 4, 2018 at his home in Roseau at the age of 47, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jim was born on April 7, 1971 in Roseau, MN to Brenda (Hetteen) and Leroy B. Lindblad.  He grew up in Roseau and attended Roseau High School.  He worked in various jobs, including Polaris Industries for 9 years, in Menominee, WI, for V&H Construction in Iowa, again with Polaris Industries, and most recently with Vestas Blades out of Brighton, CO until his last day.  He and Diana (Lovelace) were united in marriage on September 10, 2011 in Roseau.

Jim enjoyed woodworking and had a special passion for fishing.  He loved all animals, especially his dogs.  He enjoyed visiting and spending time with his friends and family.  He loved his family immensely, and will be remembered as a kind, honest and generous person.  Blessed be his memory.

Jim is survived by his wife, Diana Lindblad of Roseau; mother, Brenda (Terry) Loken of Roseau and many extended family members.  He is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Lindblad.
