Grace E. Qualey

A  Funeral Service for Grace E. Qualey of Roseau, MN will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Stafford Cemetery in Roseau, MN.

Grace Ellen Qualey passed away suddenly on October 10, 2018, at LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau, MN, at the age of 56.

 Grace Qualey was born in Roseau, MN, on August 7, 1962, to Clarence and Marlys (Saagge) Hulst. She attended school in Roseau, graduating from Roseau High School in 1981. Grace married Eric Qualey on May 31, 1985. They had three children – Kayla, Lisa, and Sheldon. 

 Grace held several jobs in Roseau; including REM, Polaris, ODC, and as a bartender at most of the bars in Roseau. She loved watching wrestling, playing cards and spending time on her computer. She also loved her morning coffee, sitting on the deck in the summer, and visiting with everyone.  Her favorite thing was having her back scratched. She dearly loved her grandchildren – and her dogs.

 Grace is survived by her children, Kayla (Andrew) Landin of Warroad, MN, Lisa (Austin Schell) Qualey of Roseau, Sheldon (Krista) Qualey of Roseau; siblings, Roc Hulst of Roseau, Joslyn Krzoska of Roosevelt, MN, Jeff Hulst of Roseau, and Janet Hulst of Roseau; grandchildren, Daniel, Jaxon, Madyson, Mia, Athena, Marcus, Lydia, Kallie, Emma, Audrey, and Molly.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tommy; daughter, Tara; grandchildren Zane and Lilly.
