Edward A. Klinger

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 17th at 4 PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau.  Interment at the Moe-Rose Cemetery; and military honors by the Roseau Memorial Honor Guard.

Edward A. Klinger, age 64 of Roseau, MN passed away on October 10, 2017 at his home.  Ed was born on April 1, 1953 in Fargo, ND to Velma (Asleson) and Rinhold Klinger.  He grew up in Roseau and graduated from Roseau High School.  He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Ft. Knox, KY, until his honorable discharge in March of 1973.   He worked for Pamida, which later became Shopko, for over 30 years.

Ed loved his dog.  He enjoyed reading, writing, watching movies and working on his car.  He was a good carpenter, working on many home projects, and was a member of Friends of the Library.  He will be remembered as a friendly person, and was a pleasure to be around.

Ed is survived by his uncle, Albert (Lois) Asleson of Embarrass, MN; and several cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
