My name is Anthony J Erickson and I died on March 10, 2024 at home.

I was born in Roseau, MN on October 18th, 1999 to Eric and Jennifer Erickson. I graduated from Warroad High School in 2018. During this time you could have found me riding an ATV on trails, working at Doug’s Supermarket, and playing football and basketball. I also joined the Warroad Volunteer Fire Department in my senior year.  I was blessed with a close family that loved to travel! As such my fondest memories are camping trips with Mom, Dad, my brother, Zack, my Uncle Joe and my Grandparents Steve and Rena. And travels to Florida, Puerto Rico, and Alaska. As well as a road trip to Utah to visit my uncle Jon.

After graduation I moved to Hibbing, MN where I attended Iron Range Engineering in Virginia, MN pursuing a degree in Integrated Engineering. While there I met Anastasia Hamiltion, the love of my life. During my last semester I had the opportunity to intern at Safran Test Cells in New Brighton. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato in the Fall of 2021. After graduation I moved to New Brighton where I worked at Safran Test Cells as an Electrical Engineer.

I enjoyed attending local concerts and checking out local restaurants and breweries with Anastasia.  I also enjoyed long boarding, nature walks with Calypso (my and Anastasia’s dog], reading, playing boardgames/cards, listening to music and researching different music on Youtube/Spotify.

In November of 2022 I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, brain cancer. I went through a round of radiation therapy but that was unsuccessful. So I moved back to Warroad, MN and was fortunate to be able to do some traveling (Nevada, California, Utah, and Canada) and spend my last days with family and loved ones.

I am survived by my girlfriend Anastastia Hamiltion; my parents Eric and Jennifer Erickson; brother Zackary (Madeline) Erickson; nephew Emmett Erickson; grandparents Steven and Rena Doebler; grandfather Dale Erickson, grandmother Audrey Erickson; and my uncles, aunts, and cousins.

I was preceded in death by my uncle Justin Erickson.

“In all things treat each other with love, compassion, and empathy. Peace be with you all.”
