Teresa May Raskie

A prayer service for Teresa May Raskie of Roseau will be held on Thursday, February 1st at 7 PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau.  Teresa Raskie passed away on January 24th at the LifeCare Medical Center at the age of 53.

Teresa May Raskie was born July 16, 1964 in Minneapolis, Mn.  She lived most of her adult life in Roseau, Mn at REM and at PCS-Crestwood home.

Teresa was a beautiful woman with a colorful soul! She was caring and kind to her housemates, always wanting to know if they were okay. She could be feisty as well as shy. She enjoyed rides to WORK (Focus) and going on outings in the van, loved the color yellow and having potatoes at any meal. She enjoyed talking to people and being talked to. She could often be seen rocking out in her wheelchair to any type of music from Christmas music, the Chipmunks, and even Gospel music.

Teresa was preceded in death by her mother.

Teresa Raskie passed away at the age of 53 on January 24, 2018 at Life Care Medical Center in Roseau, Mn.

Teresa had a way of touching everyone’s life including staff, housemates, co-workers and friends. Teresa’s  infectious smile and laugh will be truly missed!
