A Memorial Service for Julaine Ingeman of Hutchinson, MN formerly of Roseau, MN will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10:00AM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at a later date.
Julaine Ingeman passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Lakeside Health Care Center in Dassel, MN at the age of 63.
Julaine Clara May Ingeman was born on May 28, 1951 to Lewis and Clara (Dahlquist) Brateng in Roseau, MN. She grew up in the Roseau area and attended grade school in Malung and high school in Roseau. Julaine lived on the family farm until she got married to Garyle Ingeman on October 20, 1979.
The couple moved to Kennedy, MN and Garyle started a plumbing company and Julaine helped him with whatever he needed. They moved back to Roseau in 1985 and Julaine started working at ODC for several years before retiring in 2009. Julaine enjoyed knitting, playing card and board games; she loved to play Wii bowling and Hayday. She was a very friendly person and enjoyed talking with all her friends. Most of all Julaine loved her grandchildren.
Julaine is survived by her daughter, Carmen (Nick); grandchildren, Kamia, Ricky, Nauricia; siblings, Geraldine Thompson, LaMae (Merlin) Mortenson, Verland (Millie) Brateng, Ival Brateng, Cameron (Claudia) Brateng, Llewellyn (Sherrie) Brateng.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Garyle; brother, Marvin, and her parents.
