Heath Everette Evans, age 21 of Warroad, MN, lost his battle to bipolar disorder/depression Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was born on February 21, 1993 to Kathleen Evans. Heath graduated from Warroad High School/Roseau High School.
Heath adored his dog, (Otis), playing video games (Call of Duty), and hanging out with friends. He was known for his practical intelligence, good heartedness, relentless sense of humor, wit and roaring laugh. Heath was an incredible friend, non-judgmental, always supportive and accepting. His friends confided in him often and appreciated the special attention he offered.
Heath is survived by his sisters, Heather Evans and Jadi Stahling; niece, Jordyn Mohs; mother, Kathy Evans; grandmother, Virginia Storey; aunts, Donna Noonan, Debra Harrison, Sheri McClain, Georgette Bruhn, Gayle fish, Debbie Diepenbrock, Donna Butler, Laurel Ulwelling, Julie Clark, Patti Hodgson; uncles, Dr. James Fish, Gary Fish, Gene Fish, Kelly Evans, Bob Storey, Les Storey, Wade Storey, Ron Storey; Godparents, Fred and Vonda Demolee; and countless number of cousins and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Roger Evans, Harold Fish, Lester Storey; and uncle, Roger Evans II.
His life will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Warroad, MN with Pastor Bruce Carlson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. His ashes will be given to close friends, his sisters, and mother. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider donating to mental health organizations or suicide prevention programs of your choice.
