Everett Louis Huggins, age 60, of Warroad, Minnesota, peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
Everett was born June 8, 1955 in Syracuse, New York to Charmaine (Forbes) Kidder and Everett B. Huggins (and raised by Ralph Kidder Sr.). He attended Copenhagen High School of New York then served in the US Army.
Everett enjoyed fishing, hunting and attending his children's sporting events. He cherished every moment that he spent with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He will be remembered for his kindness, love for his friends and family, whit, and generosity of giving what he could when someone was in need.
He is survived by his children Everett W. Huggins, and Brittany (Brent) Cole; grandchildren Easton and Myla Huggins, and Jack Cole; brothers Ralph Kidder Jr. and Wayne Kohler; former partner and special friend, Annie Prelvitz; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Charmaine and Ralph.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, November 20, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery south of Warroad, MN. A light meal will be served immediately following the graveside service at the Lake Town Hall.
