I was so touched by the poems of the grandkids that Aunt Carol shared with us in a email. In particular the poem by Heather. I too was taught how to drive a tractor, a pick-up and how to count bales by Uncle Ernest. He was a wonderful, caring, strong...bigger then life man. The time I got to spend with Uncle Ernest as a child have been remembered and cherished. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. All My Love, Mark Anderson

Our heart felt condolences go to Ernest's family. My brother Jeff and I have many happy memories at the "mill".

Thank you Uncle Ernest!

All our prayers and love go out to Uncle Ernest's family and to all who knew him. I didn't spend as much time with him as I would have liked, but I know that he was a hard worker (he helped to give my dad and uncle's their strong work ethic) and cared a lot for people. I remember one Sunday during the winter when I was driving from Bethesda to Pine Grove Church and went into the snow-filled ditch. Well, after all of the services were done, dad and I went over to Ernest and Nancy's so see if Uncle would get my car out with his tractor. He didn't even flinch. He was a very kind man and I thank God for the life that he lived!
